Well, this is it. I finished my commuter train (called Z6400).
The train is made of 2 types of car : engine and intermediate car.
The train has doors animation.
I never made 3D modelling before and thanks to your advices I ended it up with this model.
And certainly if you want to make something complicated, model a train with interior !
I appreciated all those useful plugins, extrude tool / operation and the UV map / remap function (any 3D software without this texturing tool would be quite limited).
So here are some screen shots… one is from MSTS… it’s easy to tell since there is such a gap in the rendering.
On the other hand, sometimes, parallel faces (well they should be !) on a same side have a different light effect and hopefully it is not visible in MSTS.
