WTH "Error 3050".

I’ve been using 3DCanvas 8.xx for about 2 years, with no troubles except the usual Runtime shut-downs. I recently installed 3DC 9 to try, then uninstalled it after finding out that i’ve got to pay another forty bucks for the Pro version after paying seventy for version 8 Pro. Now, when I try to start version 8.xx, I get "Error 3050: Cannot Lock File", then the program quits. I’ve tried re-installing 3DC 8, but i’m still getting the error.

I’d recommend this procedure:

1) uninstall all versions of 3DCrafter
2) delete any 3DCrafter related folders from "c:program files". These could be named "Amabilis" "3D Canvas" "3DCrafter" etc.
3) reinstall the version of 3DCrafter you want to run.
