Where is the Eagle Fast Attack Fighter tutorial by Les Pat

Thanks guys for all your examples and hints.
Seems it isn’t too complicated after looking at pirate’s link. Just needed a tip on how to get started in a simple way.

Tommy

Does anyone have a copy or can point me to another 3DC spaceship tutorial?

Thanks,
Tommy

tommy,
this tutorial is in 3ds max but it still can help you a lot in 3DC and give you some good ideas…[img:28ll8wrq]http://www.jandscreations.com/files/Modeling_a_Spaceship_in_3D_Studio_Max.pdf[/img:28ll8wrq]
model a spaceship

Space stuff is nearly all fictional so whatever you build is OK.
No one can tell you it’s wrong because it doesn’t exist, except in your imagination.

You just need to come up with a basic design then decide how best to build it.
Many of the sci-fi movies have their space ships designed after wierd see creatures, squids etc.

All you really need to do is to draw out a rough design first then build it.
Start with a basic primitive and learn how to use the extrude tool.

The one in the attached pic started out as an 8 sided cylinder, extruded to get the basic shape and face layout, other bits and pieces where then added to complete the model.

Bazza

Bazza is right, spaceships are easy to build. The attached ship pic started as a single cube with some simple extrudes. The rest is a few cylinders and the pipe buuilder plugin. Even the fighter is just a cube.
