Got it – Thanks Paul !!!

All,

I am working on learning how to texture map and I seem to be getting the hang of it… I have one puzzling problem – I can’t seem to identify the source for… I am using the Engineer plugin to generate my square wheels – that I alpha to round.. I have a problem on one side of my loco – the spokes do not line up with the faces… Image included… It always seems to be on the port side… The problem jumped from the pilot to the drivers… After retexturing a thousand times – I had the drivers good – not sure why – then I lost it… I tried changing the number of spokes and rebuilding all the wheels from scratch…

Do I need to rotate something to get this to work ???

Appreciate any assistance provided…

Regards,
Scott

Oh – just to clarify – I did redo all the bmp’s when I changed the number of spokes… As stated above – one side does work fine…

quartering <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –> … the port wheels are rotated by 90 degrees.

Try switching modes to ‘edit using face coordinates’ before applying the texture.
