Vista and Directx configuration

I’m very far behind unfortunately.

I can’t think of anything that will definitely get version 6 up and running on Vista. You have the latest version 6 from the downloads page I assume?

Maybe you could try changing desktop colour depth. It’s a longshot, but worth a try.

I have to use 3DCP v6xxx to get the proper export of signal objects for MSTS. V7xxx won’t export signals with optional subobjects as can be done with v6xxx. So I’m stuck with using v6xxx. I’ve reported this v7xxx bug before and it has not been fixed.

For the time being, I’ve had to migrate my work to a VISTA laptop. When it loads, I get a directx configuration error. The directx diagnostic tool reports directx 10 is installed and functioning. As far as the video driver goes, I’m stuck with what I have. There is no update or support for this particular card ( Mobility Radeon X1400 )

I need to resolve this problem rather quickly. And would really like the signal subobject export bug fixed so I can use my purchased v7

I am a licensed user for both 3CDP 6 and 7.

Thank you for your time.
