All,

I’m familiar with the ‘animation camera’ issue in version 7 when switching views… I insured all the animation cameras are off in both 3DC and the registry…

Now – I’ve lost my four pane window view… I can select it via the menu – however – only one pane comes up… I’m pretty familiar with 3DC and it’s not that I just resized the windows or something… They were last set to divide the window into quarters…

I have been playing around with Version 8 a bit on the same machine – hopefully – that didn’t cause an issue…

Which registry keys do I need to change to reset the four pane view to it’s defaults ???

Any help – greatly appreciated…

Hi Scott,

the settings are probably the last few under this key – XFView*

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareVB and VBA Program Settings3DC 7Application

Hi Paul,

Appreciate the response… No luck… That seems to allow me to change which view I want – however – when I select the one that should display the four equally sized panes – I still only get one… I’m afraid that even doing a complete uninstall/re-install is going to leave me in the same situation of not correcting the problem… I’ll probably need to search and delete all the 3DC registry keys by hand again… Arrgh… I spent days on the issue last time I had 7 and 8 on the same machine…

I’ll try the procedure tonight and see how it works out…

It’s probably related to turning on the animation camera. Deleting the entire ‘HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareVB and VBA Program Settings3DC 7’ key should fix it.
