Hi
when I’m trying to import a 3DO-file, I get unrecoverable error..
I can’t even open the file by ‘file open’..
I have then tried to open the original 3DS file,
and exported it again as a 3DO file, but still I can’t open it..
Other 3DO files opens fine ?
What is the problem?

Hello,
You could post this in the ‘Bug Reports – 3DC 8’ section.
If your model is big or if you don’t want to show a public link to your model, email the model or the link to Amabilis support.

Hi
I have tracked this issue..
I installed 8.1.3 on another computer,
then I tried to open the 3DO-file, and it failed
then I tried to open the 3DC-file, and then reexport as 3DO, and now the 8.1.6 could import the file…
Also in the 8.1.6, it’s impossible to add to the components library, also this works in 8.1.3, and objects added in 8.1.3 can be read by the 8.1.6 version…
