Upgrade required

I’m using 3D Canvas Pro 7.1.1.2 how do I upgrade to 3D Crafter Pro. Do I have to buy a complete new package?

Hi Cliff,

I think it depends when you purchased it… The good news is you can try your key and see if it works on the new version…

I found this under "Products":

[quote:e99ohvwv]3DCrafter 8 is a free upgrade for those who purchased December 5th, 2007 or later. If you purchased before that date or would like to upgrade from 3DCrafter Plus to 3DCrafter Pro 8.x, you can purchase an upgrade here.[/quote:e99ohvwv]

You can download 3DCrafter from here: <!– l –>viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4563<!– l –>

Install it and see if your key works to register it… You shouldn’t have to remove your old software to do this… If your key doesn’t work you are probabaly eligible for the "Upgrade" package…

PS: Even with out using 8 – I believe the best – most stable – version of 7 is 7.1.2 – if you decide to update your 7 just ping me with an email address offline and I can get you all the 3DC packages for 7.1.2 as they are no longer available on this site…

Scott

Scott I have server space on TSNZ, should we maybe upload them there and make the 712 version generally available??

Hello Scott,
Presumably the link you provided is to the basic Crafter. I’m working on RailWorks and believe I need the Pro version again. I bought the Canvas Pro in July 2009

Hi Scott,
Sorry, brain not engaged this morning. Used your link and downloaded Crafter. Entered key and was upgraded to Pro version. Success!
Thanks for your help. Might try 7.1.2 if run into problems.
Thanks again,
Cliff

Morn’n Guys,

Glad you got it all sorted out – Cliff…

Richard stated we are free to distribute the old legacy product installations – as needed…

Peter – I’ll upload my installs to my DropBox account and send you a link… I have all (4) files that make up 3DC 7.1.2… I’ll try and get some time today to run that test you asked me about as well…

Regards,
Scott
