I have a bit of an idea what it could be. Can you attach the ‘3DC.log’ file from your documents folder?
Btw, has anyone had success with Windows 7 64 bit?

Good evening,
How can I create the log file?
I have not found it in any directory on my pc.
Thanks
Carlo

It’s supposed to be in your ‘Documents’ folder. If it isn’t then it might be that 3DC is failing before it gets to creating the log. It also may just look like ‘3DC’, rather than ‘3DC.log’.

I’m using Windows 7 64 bit without any problems but I’m still using 7.1.2.0

I’ve installed on W7 professional 64 bit.
No major problems.
In fact it installed without a hitch from the msi file.

I had a lot of trouble with installing 3DC Pro (3DCTGC651) on Windows 7 64bit.
Mainly errors:
– ‘Error 1904. Module C:Program Files (x86)Amabilis3dceditport.ocx failed to register.
HRESULT -2147024770. Contact your support personnel.’
and
– ‘An unrecoverable error has occured. If you continue to receive this message please contact Amabilis at <!– e –>support2@amabilis.com<!– e –> (#372) ‘
Note I had before installed the Free version (3DC817).
The only way to have the Pro version running for me was:
– uninstall all versions (Free and Pro)
– install Free version and start 3DC Free
– use Help menu to enter the Registration Code
– restart 3DC. Will be Pro and working with no above errors.
Note if you have installed 3DC Pro as Administrator and is running just fine as Administrator but not as user (gotting err #372 as regular user), be sure the option ”Run as Administrator’ is not checked when you are logged in as Administrator. This was happened to me.

Hello all.
I’m getting this same error after installing either version 8 or 9. I’ve ran it as administrator and also I’ve checked to see if it’s in my documents and all seems well except I don’t know what to do next, any help please?
Bulman.

I think your best bet is to uninstall all version of 3DCrafter and then re-install them.

Verison 9.1 is now available. It may be worth a try.
