Unable to load TGA file

Hi Paul,
No, the are no number codes displayed. All TGAs are saved as 24 bit uncompressed. Don’t remember if I reinstalled.

Just tried to load them in 6.6.1.0 and everything works great, so guess I will just stick with that and not worry about 6.5.1.0 Still cureous as what is going on though.

Thanks for the help, Bill <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –>

Am just getting back to 3DC after being away for about nine months and find that I can not load .TGA texture image files. BMP image files load OK but TGA files bring up a ‘Unable to load texture. The file may be corrupt’- message. Have tried both old saved textures and new images made with both PSP 7 and PSP 9. Have also tried on several different models. The images all display OK in TGATool2 so I feel they are OK.

Am using 3DC Pro 6.5.1.0

Any help appreciated, Bill <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –>

Hi Bill,

Are there any error number codes associated with the message?

As far as I’m aware the the TGA files must be saved as uncompressed for 3DC.
The file format itself is very simple, difficult to corrupt.

Also – have you re-installed 3DC since the last time you used it?
