Transparency problem

What size does your *.tga file have? 512×512??

Any other size doesn’t work correctly in 3DC and produces the effect you mentioned but comes out all right in MSTS.

I’m having a problem with applying a transparency. Actually, the problem is I’m trying to apply a cropped portion of a TGA with a transparency, outside of the transparency area. Yet, the only thing which appears after applying the cropped portion, is transparency. To see the probem please click on the link below:

Thanks! I’ll apply the solution. It’s a 256 x 256 texture I’m using. It doesn’t look like that in the picture images cause I cropped it down to make the image file size smaller since I put up 4 in a row like that. Appreciate the info.

*edit* That did the trick! Loaded right up with the image properly presented on the primitive. Thanks bunches!

I sometimes find that you must have the single top left pixel of a TGA file as a transparent pixel – this seems to stop this inverse transparency effect.
