Trainworks extras addon (Resolved)

Well… 3DC IS significantly different in some areas. It’s a bit tough for everyone because it’s hard to know if something just ‘works differently’ or is a bug. At this point, it could be either. The ‘Quick Start’ guide in the help file is supposed to cover all of the differences, but I’m sure I missed some things. We’ll get all of the differences listed eventually.

in 8.1.1 (a) theres a download Trainworks Extras addon which if you click seems to take you to a empty web page, is this broken??

Also I still can not find where I enter shaders and the r0arg lines in this version, theres no railSim and no RailsimX etc slots I can find.

Check your downloads folder. I clicked on the Trainworks Extras link and also got a blank page, but noticed that it had downloaded 3DCTrainworksExtras.zip.

I was able to download the Trainworks Extras without problem and install it.
Maybe it was temporarily off-line when you tried?

It seems like the website was temporarily down.

As for the shaders etc, they are entered on the Properties and Information Panel. Atl-double-click the shape. This will open the panel. Then you will have to scroll the material information to the right to enter the values. They don’t all fit within the view.

yes thanks. seems it was the site and not me.
As for the Shaders etc, got it, forgot they do not appear until you do a export.
Now I can not get the Crop texture to work.
I am guessing I am just to old for something new and flash.
