No problem Hank, be sure that you’ll be the first to call when I have signaling problems <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –>.
You can create the fields manually but I take the easy way out and export the model with the Trainsim Wizard. The Wizard creates the needed fields, and then I update them and re-export.

This is what I’ve done
1) Create the single face poly and apply the tree texture with the TGA and alpha transparency I’ve used dozens of these textures just fine in TS
2) Open the custom fields textboxes and enter
TrainUprightViewFacingFlora.fx
in the RailSim box and Transparency in the TxAlpha box
3) select File/Export/Trainworks/RailSim Geometry New and export.
3)Copy the file to the place I use in the RS/Source area.
Open the file in the Assets Editor, there I can tell the export didn’t take because the tree shape doesn’t rotate. It should if all is working because I loaded one of the source files from a tree from 3D trains tree and it rotates.
Does it seem like I missed something?

That seems kosher, Hank. Is the email in your public profile for this forum OK? I’ll assemble a test model for you.

That email address will work.
I use RS-tools to open the Assets graphic file and the shader is’t there. Again, with a 3D Trains Asset, that shader is listed in the file.
If text entered into the custom field boxes is supposed export and go into the graphic script, it isn’t.
If I save the 3dp file, those fields don’t come back
