Nekar
Thank Nekar andnbsp; That’s a usefull tool for getting the curves just right, I’ve never used the tool, until now…
The spitfire, I’m modelling has curves in all directions, so it was difficult and time consuming to get them exactly right
…This is a much quicker and better method andnbsp;

…A reflecting sphere on a checkered plane…
Just a quick little something I did. The stick figure comes from Poser 3. I modelled the ‘plane and did the placement in 3dC. Lanscape, textures and rendering doen in Pov-Ray 3.5 beta 8.

No – no problems. I exported to.obj from Poser 3 and then imported into 3DC 5. There might be inverted normals, but I haven’t noticed any, maybe it’s just because you don’t really notice it on a stick figure?
I do remember having problems on previous versions of 3DC, I think it was inverted normals or something.

I’m andnbsp;having problems importing Poser 4 figures. It works with small probs, but when I try to import P4 people obj-files, 3DC freezes. There are different options how to export P4 objects and I think I tried them all, but unfortunately without success.

How about exporting to 3ds from poser and then importing the 3ds file into 3DC?

Thanks for the tip. The import with 3ds works – in theory. With a Poser figure in the scene, 3DC is very slow and choppy, it is impossible even to position the figure. A little bit to much for my machine (PII 350, 8 Mb Video). Although, in Poser I can work with several figures and a 10K faces+-prob imported from 3DC simultaneously.

Real…Good andnbsp;
Good to know you can model Aircraft in 3DC Pro, I hope to model a Spitfire…getting the curves right will be difficult…?

Curves should be easy with the tool that looks like a magic wand. It’s on the right hand side – I think it’s the 4th one from the top
