Submissions?

Hi KB,

seems that it worked at last. Let’s wait an see if my submission (miscelleanous, pic with an armchair) will appear in the gallery.

Thank you very much for the information you gave me.

Quite off topic here, but I don’t not know were to put this else.

I tried to submit one picture and object to <!– e –>submissions@amabilis.com<!– e –> and got back the following message:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at hmv-pop1.infospacehosting.net.
I’m afraid I wasn’t able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I’ve given up. Sorry it didn’t work out.

64.157.4.82 failed after I sent the message.
Remote host said: 554 delivery error: dd Sorry your message to rborsheim cannot be delivered because it is too large. – mta455.mail.yahoo.com

Any idea?

The mail contained a 1024x768x24 bmp, as requested for pictures. The entire mail was 3357 KB.

Hello Maja,
andnbsp;I’ve had email returned sent through Yahoo, also. One message said they had a size limit of 10,000 kb’s, but others have just been sent back.

Hello Maja,
andnbsp;I’ve never submitted a model but andquot;rborsheimandquot; is our leader- Richard Borsheim, [didn’t know if you knew that] So in a way it’s not too mysterious. Still a little confused about Yahoo, though. <!– s:P –><!– s:P –>
andnbsp;Do you have a web page? I’m pretty sure you can submit as a url. Hey, maybe you could send it to me and I could submit it for you. It’s the andquot;Wonderful World of Computersandquot;, we should be able to do this.
andnbsp; If someone else has a idea, let us know, please.

Hi KB!

Sorry to reply so late, but I was very busy.

The other thing is, I actually don’t send through Yahoo. I’m German and customer of the Deutsche Telekom AG (t-online.de) and I used that account to send the email that I got the error message in return for. There are no size restrictions with my T-Online account.

I’m really wondering why and how Yahoo came in here. The only thing I can imagine so far is that my mail ‘accidently stumbled’ into a Yahoo SMTP server on its way to Amabilis. Or I better should say I hope so. Cause if this is the regular ‘tour’ for emails sent from my city, I might not be able to send my trivial work at all. :-/

I’ll have another try today…
