Spinners

You’re right, actually is what I currently do as a workaround: if I don’t like the results I simply delete the operation … andnbsp; <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –>

I’d love the andquot;slidingandquot; feature for spinners to be implemented in 3DC, ’cause most of the times you don’t know which is the value you’re looking for until you get it.

I’d also love a sort of andquot;transform type-inandquot; gadget, so as to directly enter the exact number you want to move or rotate your object.

Hi,

One of the features I would like for 3DC is the ability of previsualize changes done in parameters as long one spinner is clicked andamp; moved with the mouse before pressing ok (like in 3DS Max). And of course the same if you directly input a number.

So, when you want to modify a property of an object, say, its size, you hold down one of the spinners and move it with the mouse until you get the number you want, and then, if you like what you’re previsualizing in the scene you just press ok to finally apply the changes, and if you don’t just press cancel and the object goes back to its original state.

I know that some properties can be modified in the object layers panel but my suggestion refers to:
1) see the changes before applying the modifier (in my example, scale), and
2) move spinners with the mouse (while you press the left mouse button), instead of having to click again and again everytime you want to add/substract some units.
