show groups

I noticed in the latest vers 8.2.5 that the icons on the top row now have a Show groups function,left side next to Bones …
Well at least thats what the text says on mouse over, but it uses the icon for show pivots (red/blue/green) arrows.

yes I agree pal, small things…
have you noticed that if you select a face and try to shrink it, that it actually also twists??? This maybe just me of course. Once I get my HD replaced I can get back into modelling….

well hard drive sorted and adsl now connected, after 6 months.
So in the latest version of 3DC can some one remind me or tell me where the add points function is now please.
Also the duplicate shape operation as in 7.x versions where you can make say 20 posts x meters apart and 3dc would do that for you.
Been some months since I really did some modelling, thankfully all is ready for the Winter in NZ.

Don’t know of a add points function, but if you right click on an edge, select divide, you can add one or more points to that edge.

The shape duplicate function is at the bottom of the right toolbar.
Right click on it, to set the values, left click to start the copying.

well I must be using a broken version of 3dcrafter 8.5 as I just can not find that shape duplicate function , the help says that…..

On my version it is on the bottom of the right hand vertical toolbar.

Maybe it is a pro function, did you fill in your license number.?

Otherwise your install is broken.

I always uninstall now, since I saw ( with all those updates ) six or seven entries of 3D Crafter in my list of installed programs.

You can right click to set values on all icons, which have a little blue arrow on the top right corner.
