looks like a coplanar face hidden in there – not good. Have you tried triangulating then optimizing the object again?
(Doesn’t always work)
Alternatively, join a few of the points on the affected face with the Edge operation, then triangulate and optimise again.
Failing that, have another go at building the object – you really don’t want that face to remain as it can cause problems later.

Hi Guys,
Can anyone help me with this ?
I am building a loco for train sim which has a bonnet with indents, I have used object subtraction to achieve this and it worked great one one side but on the other has left a shaded triangle , can anyone tell me how to correct this please.
Thanks in advance

Thanks Paul,
I have triangulated the face and all is well. I can carry on now!
Thanks very much for taking the time to answer Paul, it is very appreciated!
