Several questions about export

I,m not sure about questions 1 and 3, but no 2 is a known bug:-

I have the same problem on the 2 locos I have exported. Apparently a patch will be released in January to sort this problem out.

Hello,
I wrote a message on railsimulator forum more than a week ago but got no reply at all.

I take this opportunity to post this summary of remarks / questions (some of them were already posted in different amabilis forums).

I exported an unfinished model using 3DC default KRS texture:
[img:hs4xe9ys]http://img353.imageshack.us/my.php?image=image1hz1.jpg[/img:hs4xe9ys]
[img:hs4xe9ys]http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/8089/image1hz1.th.jpg[/img:hs4xe9ys]

1) When I first enter the route, I can navigate and select any of the available locomotives. When selecting mine, [b:hs4xe9ys]I cannot start the engine[/b:hs4xe9ys]. Do you know what could be missing? The blueprints were built from copies of the ‘electric_engine’ sample available on this site (assets download section).

2) After exiting the game and entering again in the same route, KRS is crashing.

3) You can notice in the lower right image that some boxes on top of the roof are not displayed when looking from a short distance.

4) I would like to change the texture to have a metallic aspect like BR294, for example. I believe I have to build a texture to be applied with TrainSpecEnvMask.fx.
It needs an alpha chanel for specular. I tried several tests but I didn’t succeed: I built an ace file, a dds file to be converted by ToACE but it didn’t work. I’m looking for a solution which is not using photoshop.

As already replied by Richard, point 4 will likely be addressed in a future railsimulator tutorial.

Thanks in advance for your ideas / replies about the other 3 points.
