You’ll have to use the fill operation rather than the Fill tool. The Fill tool just flood fills the whole object and ignores what faces are selected.

Hi
I thought I saw the answer to this, but maybe not. andnbsp;
Is there a way to select from a certain object only the faces with a particular texture?
Obviously I want to andquot;texture swapandquot; andnbsp;on an object where the faces are painted different
textures.

You can select all faces with the same material (not just texture) by ctrl-alt selecting in face/point selection mode.

Thanks,and now I’ve found it in the help file andnbsp; andnbsp;(is that a sheepish gring?)
But can I now apply a texture to all the selected faces? andnbsp;I can’t seem to do this
