Richard, see the new b3d format file !

Yeah, blitz does use .x and .md2 but they have just come up with a new format to fully exploit the features in blitz.

Going to start small, (ie. just get the model out) then work up, but I think there is more than a passing chance I’ll be sending an email or two andnbsp;:D

I’ll post my progress once I get chance t really get started

Hi !

Richard,

Blitz3d, have now its own scene file format (version 1.75). It should be very interesting to incorpore it in 3dc !!!

blitz3d is fantastic !

I’ve been looking throught the format, and am thinking of having a go at writing an export script, (just going through it, and the x exporter supplied to see if I’ll be able to).

Any help appreciated, (but I wouldn’t complain at an official version andnbsp;;D )

It would be a really great addition to 3DC, and Blitz.

(btw, just cut the gold disk for my first game published using B3D and 3DC… so I can really say I’d love to have native B3d support).

Hub:

Ok, this explains an email I got about Blitz3D that confused me. I had thought that Blitz3D use MD2 or X.

Let me know if you run into anything you need help with. I don’t have a lot of spare time right now, but this sounds like a andquot;worthyandquot; project.
