It would be helpful if 3DC could ‘remember’ the window settings when switching between Orthographic Views or to and from the Perspective View, instead of resetting the window, which requires that the scene be dragged back into the frame.

I agree would be very useful enhancement. Very frustrating when you are zoomed in and need to change from say the front to back view, and have to position the model again.
