Properties tab’s Colors choice window stays behind main wi

It took three tries, but I finally fixed this one.

Select directional #1
Properties tab
Click color
Colors choice window pops up
Switch to a windows files browser
Switch back to 3DC: Colors choice window is not dislpayed
I need to display the files browser window again and reduce it to see the Colors choice window again

Same problem with the open file window.
