the lights are going to be added through programming with darkbasic pro. it is a fast paced fps game. if you stand in one place long the enemy will seek and destroy…the textures will be upgraded quite a bit in the final but i like to use simple textures and work more on getting the program working smoothly…

heres another level, y’all feel free to to be honest in your opinion. its just a prototype and is only up to three levels. the monsters are from the dark matter collection that comes with dark basic pro.

Looks ok, a lightmap would be a great improvement. It would give the scene some contrast…shadows and highlights.

I think the most important thing with games is how well they play. If it’s all fast action stuff you can get away with less detailed textures I’ve found.
However you can have the best looking model and textures in the world but if the game don’t play well it’s seldom used.
