problem with pre textured object

The 3DC ‘x’ import requires that all textures be BMPs (Windows Bitmap files). You can get around this pretty easily though. Just edit your ‘X’ file to change the texture references from JPG/GIF/TGA to BMP and then convert the textures themselve to BMP format using an image editor.

When I texturate an object in 3dc 6024 with texture I created and then export them in x and then import it in 3dc 6024 it’s saying that the object can be imported with those textures because he can’t support it!
I tried by copieng them in
C:Program FilesAmabilisMediatextures
and adding them in a texture library

I tried several times to resolve this problem what must I do? ???

Any chance you can post a link to a model and its textures ?

What textures are you using ? jpeg,bmp,tga ?

Do you still have this problem with 6.5 ?
