Paul,
The help file doesn’t cover a few of the plug-ins. I know you have told me about them, but I forget now. andnbsp;Could you clarify these:
DoubleSide: ?
Flare: Extrude with flare option?
FSplit: Splits off the faces selected into new object?
ShowUntextured: I can guess, but…
SwapTextures: Replaces occurances of one texture with another?
Thanks,
Richard
Double Side – builds reverse faces for all selected faces or whole object.
flare – multiple extrudes following curve
FSplit – puts selected faces into a child group without altering textures
ShowUntextured – Shows list of group/object and number of faces untextured.
SwapTexture – lets you substitute a new file for any of the currently used textures in the selected hierarchy
Regards
Paul
Hi Paul,
I tried to download this file, but I got a andquot;file not foundandquot; error.

Hi all,
10 of my plugins (including the latest set) are available for V6.0 at:

The MSTS Engineer, and others, have been updated to accept european formatted numbers (using , as decimal)
There is one small known bug with this version – you cannot enter negative feet values – fix coming soon.
Place all files into the plugins directory – if you already have Wheelz6.DLL or Rodz6.DLL already – delete these, the new ones are MSTSWheelz6.DLL and MSTSRodz6.DLL to be a bit more consistent.
Regards
Paul
Hi Paul,
Just wanted to thank you for sharing your pluggins. They sure make tasks a lot easier to get accomplished.
Mike
Thanks Mike,
If you or anyone has any more ideas for plugins, let me know, I’m always on the lookout for ideas – look for repetitive things you do or processes that take a while to do, but are repeatable, or complex processes that a computer could calculate for you.
regards
Paul
Ideas?
1 – Handrails (Length, Diameter) andnbsp;with a simple elbow (Bend Radius) creator. Combine plugin steps to do complex handrails? (Good for pipng to?)
2 – Handrail Stanchions (place ‘N’ handrail stanchions ‘D’ distance apart along the Z axis.
Hi PaulGausden- went to download the plugins for 3DC-6 and got a 404 error. Did you change it?

It lets you andquot;extrudeandquot; a face into elbows of settable radii and arc. Combining this with a normal extrude lets me build fairly complex handrails and piping. It’s been reported that it doesn’t work with 6.0, I don’t have 6.0 pro yet so I can’t verify or test.
I’ve worked with it in 6.0 so far no problems.
Paul’s plugins are also available here:
