Purchased the upgrade and downloaded 8.0.0.1 installing without problems.
Got the cannot upgrade msscript.ocx dialog but ignored and continued the installation.
Event viewer tells me also itss.dll, itircl.dll and hhctrl.dll needs updating.
Proceeded running 3DC and all was fine until I opened the ToolsOptions… dialogue.
3DC obviously thought a modal window was displayed but there was none and the program would not respond.
Had to force it to end using Task Manager.
Looks like 3DC catches the error when opening the dialogue but does not turn the main window back on responding to mouse clicks.
Then went to Windows Update and installed all updates I’ve been ignoring for a while and after that the ToolsOptions… dialogue works just fine.

I get this quite frequently with a few of the dialog boxes in 3DC8, they seem to be running but are not visible.
One way out without using the task manager is to press ESC when 3DC has focus.

Yes, this is the most annoying bug that I am aware of in 8.0. A fix is on the way.
