Operation Buttons

Have you tried uninstalling, deleting the 3DC Folder and then reinstalling? If you do this make sure you backup everything that you added to the 3DC folder.

And what version is this you are running? 5.6?

Richard

I have purchased the pro version but seem to have only a fraction of the buttons that should be available to me. andnbsp; For instance, I see the bend.dll file in the operations directory under the installed application folder but the upside andquot;Uandquot; icon is not present anywhere. andnbsp;I’ve tried installing and uninstalling the demo and pro versions and reinstalling them stand alone or in alternating sequences and nothing seems to work. andnbsp; What am I doing wrong?

How many object operations do you see? Can you post a picture of the Object Operations Panel?

Richard

Can you check to see that this file is available on your computer: andquot;regsvr32.exeandquot;.

It probably is in the WindowsSystem folder.

Richard

It’s not an issue with the registry, so that won’t help.

When 3DC starts does the cursor change to andquot;hourglassandquot; occasionally when hovering over the andquot;splashandquot; screen?

Richard

I obtained regsvr32 from MS and put it in my system folder and reinstalled the software. IT WORKED, THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!! Would you concur with my previous post – a virus hoax acted upon by my bride.

Thanks again,

Ken

It is not and I’m guessing that this is the result of one of those virus hoax’s and my darling wife probably deleted the file because she believed an email a friend sent her claiming this was a virus. andnbsp; When began typing the word into the window’s find files app the word prefilled itself, indicating someone has recently done a search on it. andnbsp;Am I probably right and will getting and restoring that file potentially fix this. andnbsp; If yes, do you know where to get the file?

I’m running 5.6. andnbsp;I just downloaded the free version and bought the andnbsp;pro version this past weakend. andnbsp; When I uninstall, the uninstall removes the folder so there is nothing there to delete. andnbsp;I just re-downloaded the pro upgrade and reinstalled, same issue. andnbsp;Do you have a registry clean utility that truly removes everything the installs put out there? andnbsp;Perhaps this would clear my issue?

Here is an image of the problem. andnbsp;I’ve examined the registry in depth and see the following operations registered (bridge, chamfer, equalize, flip, inset, material, material 2, material421, pointadjust, point position, scale, scale2, shift, shift2, soften, trim, unlink, and weldnearest, but other operations like (bend, bevel, bulge, burst, center, crease, and others) are not. andnbsp; This is despite the fact that they can be found within the C:Program Files3DCOperators folder. andnbsp;

I took another shot and removed all references to 3DC in the registry (including the license code). andnbsp;Reinstalled the freeware version, re-entered username and license code, and reinstalled the LP/Pro – still no go. andnbsp;Help please.

No hourglass – loads in about 3 seconds. andnbsp; Here are some details about my system, may help:

AMD 1.2
ATA 60 GIG HD
256 DDR Mem
Visiontek 64 mg GeForce II Pro, driver 23.11
Windows ME
