Yes, that might have been possible too, depending on what was clicked when.
I have this resolved now for the next release.
I don’t have a good solution for fixing the problem with the missing ambient lights. You could export the models and then re-import them. Or copy and paste them to a new scene.

Hi
On many of my projects, my objects looks very dark, in 3DC, but when exporting to RW,
they look fine, how can I adjust the lighting in 3DC?

Right click on your ambient light object to open its properties screen, and change the color from black to white.

It turns out that I only got ‘point light’ back,
which makes the light on the objects looking correct, but I’m unable export with the ‘point light’ in my project.
But I still missing ambient and directional #1 and #2.
Anyone knowing how to get them back into my project…

I looked in the help files and it states that they are always there.
At this point you might try reinstalling 3DC to see if you can restore them.

When I starts a new project, they are in the list, but when I open some of my current projects they are missing, but not in all projects, and this has been verified on 2 computers, with 2 different versions of 3DC (8.1.6 /8.1.3)
Not sure but I might have deleted them myself by accident, but there must be a way of getting them back..

It shouldn’t be possible to delete the ambient light. The directional lights can be re-added. They are the lights that look like an arrow. You’ll need to rotate them after you add them to make them point in suitable directions.

I just made a try :
Opened 3DC (8.1.6) and int ‘properties and information,
I tried to select every item and then hit the delete-button on the keyboard, on thing left was the Camera, which I couldn’t delete the rest disappered, so maybe you need to move this to bug too ?

Yes, you are right. It’s possible to delete the ambient light via the hierarchy. This makes it a bug. I’ll move this one too.

It’s also possible to delete it by using the mouse to select an object, and then press deletebutton
