When exporting the following project, and then do a import only the group ‘holder-1’ is imported..
If I instead opens the 3DO-file the hole structure is in place?
I can reproduce this problem on version 8.1.3 too ?

It’s a guess, but as of 3DC 8 it is necessary to select the entire hierarchy you want to export, not just the ‘root’. (to do this, just hold down ‘a’ when you select the root shape)

The export seams to be fine, only the import thats not working correctly, because if I open the .SDO file instead of importing the structure is there…

The files has been overwritten with newer version of my work.
And now, I can’t reproduce the error…
I will save the files next time I see this issue..

I managed to find the problem. Unfortunately, it seems I need to make some relatively big changes to fix it.
So, there will likely be a version 8.1.8.
