Need a Recommendation

This should work. Never would have thought of this myself.

I’d recommend compacting all layers before adding the model to the object library. But, it may work even if you don’t. I can’t say for certain.

To anyone…
How would you recommend I go about collaborating with someone that is using 5.7a if I’m using 6.502?

I mean I can help them fix their problems… but I can’t give the model back to them in native 3DC format.

I’m a bit stumped.

Pete,

Create a new object library,

Select the main Hierarchy of the model and export to library.

5.7 can read object libraries from 6.5

At the other end, just select the library and drag the object into the new scene.
