mirror parts is always .5 off?

If you like I could take a look at the file, if you send it to me… it could be a very simple thing:)

When I use the mirror operation, the mirror parted is not exactly mirror from the orginal one, instead the the pos y is like .5 less than the original one. This makes my race track with white lines on it, which mess it up. Does anyone have this problem?

Hi eatfishy,

This does happen to me but I always notice that there is a point/vertice a small bit off the mark. Try equalizing the verts along the axis you are mirroring along. hope this will work for you.

Here’s a screengrab to show ya what I mean. The circled points on the sphere are the ones that made the mirroring not what you would normaly want, cause they were slightly of the x position as the others, where the mirroring was taking place are okay. If you use the equalizing operation on all the verts along the mirrored side then it wuold mirror with no gaps.
Hope this image shows what I mean.

I actually joint the 2 vertex together and still it does not look smooth. I don’t mind this for now, but what if I wanna produce a commerical software then the model will be a problem.
