Bye.

[b:f0slhzhc]Merry Xmas and a Happy New 3D Year![/b:f0slhzhc] andnbsp;;D

Bye.

Not so cool andnbsp;:(
there are only 1 light source instead of 11 and I don’t know why (mystery of POV-Ray).

Bye.

Here is an image of a flame I did in PovRay a few months ago.

Here is the Texture code;
[pre class=’ip-ubbcode-code-pre’]#declare Tex0 =
texture {
andnbsp; andnbsp;pigment {color rgbt andlt;6, 0, 0, 0.88andgt;}
andnbsp; finish {ambient 2.00E-01 diffuse 6.00E-01 brilliance 1.00E+00}
}[/pre]

And here is the Interior/Media code; (This goes between the last two curly brackets in the flames mesh code)
[pre class=’ip-ubbcode-code-pre’]interior {media {
andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; emission 0.95
andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; scattering {1, 0.5}
andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; density {spherical
andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; color_map{
andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; [0.0 rgb andlt;0, 0, 0.5andgt; 1]
andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; [0.5 rgb andlt;0.8, 0.8, 0.5andgt; 0.5]
andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; [1.0 rgb andlt;1.5, 1.5, 0.5andgt;]
andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp;
andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; }}}}hollow[/pre]

Heres the pic.

Cool Tree!! andnbsp;;D

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Les

I’ve done either. I’ll send you the source, thanks.

Bye.

Thank you Les, but isn’t here the problem… andnbsp;:(

I’ve used 11 flames, with the same object and texture, and in every flame there is a light source, but POV-Ray render only one light and if I delete the line of that light it render only the background light (a dark grey).
Why? andnbsp;]:(

Bye.

il_barbudo,
Are you just using the Pov rendering option in 3DC, or are you exporting to Pov?

I don’t know what would cause the problem you are having, but if you are exporting to PovRay, then you could send me the code in email and I will take a look at it, if you like.

Les

Looks Great!! andnbsp;;D
