Many thanks. Yes I had set the quads out right to left. BUT I discovered that the left side is ok the right, mirror.
I made four cubes and removed the top bottom front and back faces (relative to the loco direction) and then used the fill tool for the marker colours. Interesting Blackpool rock effect.
Now onward and upward

I following Kevin Martin and Richard Scott’s tutorial, Very useful, thanks guys, but I am having difficulty with the loco numbers!!!
I have followed the instructions and can get them to show up in the Asset Editor BUT when I produce the files and go into the sim they do not appear, though the rest of the loco is OK
I am using 3DC 7.1.2.0
Any suggestions?

If I remember correctly the Asset Editor preview only shows your placeholder textures.
When in game it depends on the numbers you have in the cvs-file and the primary texture set you have in the blueprint.
You must have a primarydigits# part matching the number of characters in the numbers entered in the csv.

Thanks for you help. I have got the numbers now. The only problem is they are back to front. Mirror numbers!!!!! I almost feel like going back to MSTS!!! <!– s;-) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!– s;-) –>
