ForeverZ,
Great looking ships! I have used mview.exe, but don’t know a lot about it. Thanks for the info.

Ok gj on that, for one. Next how did you take and make a picture of that? Waht i mean is i make a scene, then i hit print screen and paste into photoshop, but i get jagged edges, yours looks smooth, what did you use and how to make image look so clean? Or anyonre that can help me there. I also use bryce and it exports great images, but i want to use 3DC more, it offers more and better features, but i need the quality in a picture.

ForeverZ,
I think most of us use PovRay for rendering smooth looking pictures. The Anti-Alaising abilities of Pov are great.

Look to the far right of the top toolbar and you see a camera icon. Click that to get a snapshot of your scene, and you get the option to use Anti-Alaising, through PovRay, for your snapshot, along with a few other options for size, etc.

You will have to have PovRay v3.5 installed on your machine in order to do it this way. Once Pov is installed, click the ‘Tools’ menu, scroll down to Script I/O Restrictions, and select ‘No Restrictions’. If you have Pov already then disregard this, but if you don’t, check it out at [img:3imv6blj]http://www.povray.org[/img:3imv6blj]

Thanks alot Les_Patterson, no i didnt know any of that, i got it all working and am very happy now. Link at bottom is example of couple space ships i have made and pov image. Also did you see the post by Richard on the mview.exe that allows u to change the .x to binary compressed, it works good. I had problem on some of the ships when i converted they wouldnt show, FYI if anyone has this problem converting where it wont open after….Reopen with mview.exe click flatten frame hiearchy then open, then goto meshops and click validate mesh, then save as and it will work.
