This is totally stupid i know but When i select points in front view, side view, etc. it only moves those on that side! how do I get it to control the points at the back as well without switching views and trying to do it all over again?

What do you mean – ‘so you can’t hold down ctrl while selecting’? I held down control while using group select, moved the point in the right side, and the left was still unaffected… what’s wrong?

I don’t think there is a way except using the ‘Group Selection Tool’.
I personally keep a ‘perspective’ view available at all times so that I can rotate to pick up points that aren’t easy to select in the orthographic views.
