Ok… Sadly, I can only run 6.6 as 6.5 or older does not work properly with my nvidia card.
I was assuming this was the case, that it was 6.6 behavior.

It only happens if I double-click and associated 3DC file from explorer. If I open the same file by starting 6.6 and using the file menu, it works fine.
I didn’t have this problem until 6.6 was installed. Anyone else?

I had exactly the same problem, but uninstalled 6.6 and it worked fine with 6.5 after that.
