Fill operation tool

You will need to select faces, not points to use the fill operation. If you are using the group selecton tool you will need to use shift-drag to select faces instead of points.

I’m trying to follow the UVmapping tutorial on 4.24. I’ve made a nice figure and I’m trying to UVmap a face on to it. I get stuck when I get to select points on the face and then have to use the fill operation tool. I can’t use it because it is ‘greyed out’. What am I doing wrong?

I’ve been Ctrl clicking instead of Shift-clicking….
