Faded Textures

Before TS2012, I used to be able to use the material colors in 3DC to give colored tints to textures. For example, my main texture for an asset has a metal roof map that is silver/white in color. When I apply this texture to the asset with the paintbrush, I use a dark burgundy color in the Material Attributes of 3DC to tint the roof the desired color. It worked in Railworks 2. Now though, in RW3 TSX and non-TSX mode, the tinting does not appear, and only the silver/white of the original texture appears.

Any ideas?

Maybe adjusting the Ambient to 0 or 1 will allow those colours to come through?
