Currently when you select a face in wireframe mode, the whole of the selected face is highlighted in yellow and it is no longer possible to see through that face. It is sometimes important (for example in top view) to be able to see what is below (or above) the selected face. It seems to me that it would be better when a face is selected in that mode that only the edges of the face are highlighted. Of course in other modes the whole face should be highlighted.
