Face editing

Yes I know that you can keep control held down to select more then one face. This is very handy. I just felt the the box hilighting method would be quicker especially as some boolean opearations leave very small faces which are difficult to select.

Just a couple of quick questions. andnbsp;1 is it possible to ‘rubber band’ faces in face edit mode. andnbsp;If it is how do you do this as it would make some of my editing a lot quicker rather then control clicking on each of the surfaces in turn. andnbsp;

okay I mean draw a box arround a number of faces/points at once and select them all via that way. andnbsp;Like selecting icons in windows.

Not sure what you mean andquot;rubber bandandquot; faces. Give me alittle more detail in wht your trying to do and I’ll see if I or someone can help. ( someone else might know what you mean )

I think I do. There is a bounding box, or andquot;group selection boxandquot; on the right side of the screen, I think its the third icon down. it shows a box in segmented lines on the icon. I think you can use this box to select either points, or if you hold shift down and click and drag the box, it will select faces. ( I think thats right, I’m not at my home computer right now) But anyway,I think this is andnbsp;how you can select several or all, points , edges, or faces. Once you have them selected, you can use your shift editor to move the selected objects….Hope this what you were looking for…..

By the way…anytime you want to select more than one point/face/edge, you can click on the first object you want selected, then hold control ( I think ) and click on second, third and so on and it will keep all selected so you can shift or apply operations to them at once.
