Sorry for the slow response. But, if it doesn’t help you, it may help others.

Your best bet is to uninstall and re-install 3DC. Between your uninstall and re-install, you may want to re-name any ‘3DC’ and/or ‘Amabilis’ folders in your ‘Documents’ and ‘Program Files’ folders. Just add ‘-bak’ to the end. 3DC will re-create the folders. If you have anything in them that you created, you can move them to the new non-bak folders.

I went to load a bmp in the materials dialogue when 3d C pro 7.2 (I believe) crashed. On start-up again, I get an error unrecoverable error and the text reads I have to reinstall Windows XP service pack 2. I have service pack 3 installed. What do I do?
