Error #91

I’m glad you posted this. Odd errors such as this happen every once and a while and I don’t really know what to suggest. I’ll add this to the FAQ. Thanks.

Okay, so I was modelling a space ship and then minimized 3DC to surf the web for a while. When I restored it all the views had gone black. So I decided to restart 3DC and bang, got me a shining error number 91. Tried to run 3DC again and still got the same error. Restarted my computer, no change. Reinstalled 3DC, no change. In the faq it says this:

When I am using 3DC I often get error #91.

This is caused by the Microsoft Windows’ Data Access Components being out of date. An update is available here1.

But that doesn’t help either. Anyone had this same problem or know how to fix it? I’m using 3DC 6.6.1.0. 6.5.0.7 works fine but I get graphics bugs in it. My specs: AMD Athlon 64 3000+, 768Mb RAM, GF7800GT

Problem solved. Had to remove everything related to 3DC from the registry before reinstalling.
