editing centrepoints?

I don’t know if it is just my pc playing up (again) but when I use the shift tool to move an objects centre point it works fine the first time I move it but if I try to move it again it just ‘disappears’ when I click on it.

Anybody else have this trouble?

Hi, Its been a while since Ive had a problem so I mght as well go into the new users section as I think its an easy one.

How do I see the centrepoint and edit that centrepoint for each object/limb/mesh/ in my model.

I have a limb in my model but its centerpoint is at the location of the other limb and Id like it to be at the same location as the limb in question when I export to the x file format

I looked atht e tutorials but didnt find the solution and the faqs was more geared to trouble shooting.

Is it in one of the tutes and which one please <!– s;) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!– s;) –>

I think you are looking for the shift tool (the square in a square icon – 6th from top, right hand side)

Use this with the ctrl button pressed allows you to move the centre wtihout ctrl leaves the centre where it is and moves the object.

thanks alan and sorry for my late reply
