Direct-X texture size ???

All,

I have been using Direct-X for a while now on exports of my model and it works fine… Just recently – I modified a texture size to larger than 1024×1024… Now – when I import the model again to 3DC – none of the textures are applied on the model anymore… Does Direct-X have a limit on texture sizes that I have exceeded – or – is something else wrong ???
