Crease a Group ???

All,

Anyone know of a way to "Crease" a group… Typically I need two levels of creasing on my models… One is usually good for the bulk of the model and I set that with the "Crease All" plug-in… The other large group I need at a different creasing level are all my pipe runs and handrails… I typically use 4 sided pipes and rails so I need the creasing set to a minimum level… The number of these parts is usually quite high – so it’s pretty inconvenient to attempt to do each one individually… Usually at some point during the modeling process I wind up hitting "Crease All" so I then need to do each object all over again…

Is there a way to "Crease" all objects in a groups hierarchy – all at the same time ???

Right-click on a shape and choose "Select Hierarchy" or "Select Group Members", then click "Crease". But, you might want to right-click on the "Crease" operation first to set the crease level you want. Or you can just take the default.

Hah – very cool – sir… There is still so much I don’t know how to do in 3DC…

I had thought I had tried it and it wouldn’t Crease with multiple objects selected…

Can’t wait to try it again… Greatly appreciated…
