I have finished my first loco model. It is a Class 12D superheated, oil fired # 3953 ‘Churrinche’ built by Beyer Peacock and Co. in 1914 for the Buenos Aires Great Southern Railway (Ferrocarril Sud).

I Like it. There were a lot of Beyer Peacock locos used here in Tasmania as well around the same period. Many continued service well into the early 1950’s. <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –>

Thanks for your comments.
I followed all Paul’s tutorials and plugins and when it was almost finished, I crashed into TSW. Finally I could solved the major problems, but I’m still fighting fighting with the tender coupling, trasparencies and lights.
When it’ll be OK, I’ll let you know where you can get a copy.

Looking forward to it.. Did you manage to follow the rod animations and make use of the animation plugin OK?
Tender locos are always fun – you usually need to shift the main centre of the loco back and the tender centre forward to make them appear correct (Use the Shift function on the right menu with the Ctrl key held down)
It is the Size parameter in the ENG file that determines how large MSTS thinks the model is.

Yes. I used the animation plugin but avoid MSTS animation of TSW. Driver wheels in MSTS, move a little slower, comapre to others.
Thank for you advice, regarding to coupling.

if you have used 16 frame animation, remember to edit the S file and change the animation line from
animation ( 16 30
to
animation ( 16 60
and the wheel speed will be correct.
