If your interested,these two textures seem to work quite well.
Set Specular to 95 and Diffuse to 75 for white and 35 for black

Looks good to me but I find the texture distracting – any chance of so more pics with a simpler texture ? I think this would help to see the details.
Glad to see somone else entering I hope we get lots more.
