Bridging 2 objects

Hey Richard,

I tried what you suggested. It bridged but it was deformed.

What I’m trying to do is use cross sections of the wing and bridge rather than extrude and join as the wing has a complex bulge where the wheel well goes.

I guess I’ll just have to extrude and join them unless someone else might have a different idea.

I tried to bridge two objects I made and came up with a message saying the object wasn’t solid… the two objects are not the same size or dimensions. Any suggestions?

This is a failure message from 3DC. You could try moving the objects slightly to see if it makes a difference. Or you could try changing the range (right-click on the bridge button).

Also, you may want to look at the Bridge operation-it doesn’t do exactly the same thing, but perhaps it is an option.
