bend, taper, twist ??

Hi,

There SHOULD be a tutorial but I haven’t got around to it yet. The key thing to remember is that if you don’t have enough detail in your object you won’t get the effect you want. For intance you can’t bend a cube that it is made up of only 8 points.

Is there anywhere a detailled explanation how these functions work? I searched all the tutorials found nothing and I don’t get it from experimenting.
